TiO2 Based Catalyst for Sulfur Recovery is a newly developed catalyst of sulphur recovery whose main active component is TiO2,at the same time, several patented agents are added to further richen the function of catalyst. In order to coordinate the production import units, we arranged to develop the A988 TiO2-based catalyst. A988 catalyst reached the world advanced level in the physics and chemistry as well as catalytic activity, meantime, its average crush strength and steady, heat steady, hydro-heat steady and attrition are superior to import catalyst. The industrial trial has proved that the activity of Claus and CS2 hydrolysis of A988 catalyst is obviously superior to catalyst abroad.



 



The main advantages of A988 catalyst are as follows:



● Higher activity for hydrolysis reaction of organic sulfide and Claus reaction of H2S and SO2, nearly approaching to thermodynamic equilibrium.



● Claus activity and hydrolysis activity not affected by "leaked O2".



● High activity,suitable for high space velocity and smaller rector volume.



● Longer service life without the formation of sulfate due to process fluctuation with the regular catalysts.

Sulfur recovery is an important process for natural gas processing plants and refineries. The raw feed streams often contain gases, such as H2S and CO2. H2S is a highly toxic gas and contributes to SO2 emissions. To comply with environmental regulations, the sulfur species are converted to elemental sulfur and water via sulfur recovery technologies such as Claus Sulfur Recovery Units and Tail Gas Treatment Units.



The products are Suitable for Claus sulfur recovery units in petrochemical, coal chemical industry, also suitable for sulfur recovery of catalytic oxidization process e.g. Clinsuef, etc. It can be loaded full bed in any rector or in combination with other catalysts of different types or functions. Used in the primary reactor, it can promote hydrolysis rate of organic sulfur, in secondary and tertiary reactors increase the total sulfur conversion.
